My Greddy FMIC project.
First of all, This Ic is a PITA to install. The part that I though would be the hardest which was relocate the radiator was the easiest part. Relocating the a/c condencer and the p/s cooler was a B*&%H!!!. Well here are some pics. of it so far.

I have to get a bit creative with my intake.

Note to self: STICK TO SMIC!!!

battery, optima to the trunk. Intake I'm going to keep the one I got but I have to get a bit creative with the primary pipes. Nothing new. If worst case I will go with a greddy one too.
Putting in the Greddy FMIC is not that hard man....you make it sound like hell, took like 1.5 hours total to install it. I thinking taking the bumper off is the hardest part of the whole damn thing.

The actual hard part is the lack of instruction on english. I went hrough this but http://flathat.woodstream.net/RX7/Docs/Greddy_FMIC.html but still not enough to do everything. There still some guessing to do. I had a very hard time figuring out how to mount the A/C condencer. Other that that everything else was easy. Just make sure you have a Dremel handy tocut the required parts out. I ben working on it since thursday but I been really taking my time.
And if you did have any freon its in the atmosphere now...
Someone around here has an excellent website with a sixpage, step-by-step instructions, with pictures for the DIY FMIC install. I have it printed at home, but I forget the website

if your willing to take off your powersteering and a/c the install isn't that bad
If i did it again i would run greddy intakes, and a pc680 14lb battery in the stock location (you have to be creative and not use the stock tray

I don't need a greedy intake. Greddy did it some way, that means I can do it too. Battery still going to the trunk since I don't like having stuff all over the engine bay. I almost removed my A/C but I wasn't going to remove my p/s.
Couldn't you fit the battery if you make a small tray across the subframs and turn the battery sideways?
WIth the long wiring to the trunk for your battery, will you loose power, amp/voltage drop and stress your alternator/ignition?
Just a thought.

I haven't try yet but I got a pretty big battery. I don't know if the optima one will fit. I don't have the cash for another battery since my cash is to finish this project. I'm also saving incase I need that intake and I have to buy water/oil pressure gauge too.
