Right then i thought i would get into this rx7 craze! I will be posting here quite a lot as you will see from the picture i bought mine in boxes so will no doub have stacks of questions while im building it it has been completely stripped down to get it re-sprayed. It is now up to me to put it back together! Just cos its one of the most complicated production cars every made it cant be too hard!

I think I'll stick to driving my car and building legos with my kids. Maybe in 3-5 more years when I'll have a shop sized garage (naw I'll probably still just drive the car, maybe build some karts for the kids to drive).

Cost just over £2000 about $3700. It has had the engine completely re-conned, its been proted and polished and it has had the ecu re-mapped. Needs about another £1500 spending to get the rest sprayed and then putting back together and it'll be worth £9-10k

 

Looks like you have a long project ahead of you, good luck. Would be interesting to see start to end progress.

 

good luck actually I'm kinda rebuilding mine right now.... it was in an engine fire and I had to replace the body harness and everything
