Update.

Update... Well I took it to get smogged on Tuesday morning and guess what IT PASSED!!! LOL. Well after that, I felt confortable that everything was runnning the way it should and the motor was in good condition so time to tear it down. Made it an an all nighter, ups guy stopped to drop of a packages and chilled for a little and had a drink. LOL ( its my friend he just got off work ). Well upon putting it all back together she wont start. Have fuel trust me I have fuel i can smell it all through the car hahaha, checked spark and it seems that the trailing coils arent getting spark. Changed the plugs used a few sets of wires and changed the coils nothing helped. Today Im going to check the ignitor and the crank sensor. Checked with key on and it has power up to the coils, so im assuming it has to be one of those two. I was damn near climbing in the engine bay may have kicked the crank angle sensor. lol and my back is killing me from bending over this thing for two days. Well here are some pics enjoy.

PS if anyone local is looking on do you have an ignitor I can use. Thanks

You mentioned EGT in your list. I was personally recommended to get the DUAL EGT sensor from Pineappleracing.com Monitors both rotors. As typical with the FDs the Front can run rich while the back could run lean and viceversa depending on RPMs.... With that in mind the DUAL EGT will give you piece of mind. As you can monitor if one goes out of sync the AF may not clue you into one of the rotors running lean, where the EGT will let you know one is getting hot!

Good luck! Things are looking good.

congrats on the good work dude, its looking real good.

btw its my opinion, but dont use a turbo timer search the forums ... the best way to cool it down is the same best way you warm it up, is by driving slowly and keeping the RPMs down and no boosting for the last couple minutes... my $0.02 on turbo timers.

in my opinion use the turbo timer.. what happens if you are in a hurry one time and you rush to work or somewhere and you get there and shut ur car off.. without driving slow or not boosting the last couple min..
YOU DONT HAVE TO USE THE TURBO ALL THE TIME. just when you need it to protect your engine in those rare cases. if you dont and you have to buy a new turbo(s) because of it you will really regret not spending the $150.
thats my little opinion.

If you search the forums there's a good thread talking about why you shouldn't. Maybe some of the admins can shed some light.

I concur. do a search. turbo timers are a waste of money. the only time you need a turbo timer is if your in the 24 hour le mans or some crap.

guys i agree with you. a turbo timer does cause heat soak. i strongly recomend not relying on them to cool your engine.

you said your car is going to be a daily driver right?
say you dont get the turbo timer.. everything is fine. you drive slower and use minimal boost the last couple minutes of your trip..
what happens to your car. imperticularly your turbo when you have one day where you are in a extreme hurry.. (i use the "wife is in labor and has to get to hospital, or your kid will be born and **** your impossible to find carpet up" sinerio..) and your boosting all the way to wherever; and you didnt have time to let your car warm up properly.. and then you get there.. and you shut the ****** off.. it is going to cause alot more damage to your car..
i say get the turbo timer in case of *extreme emergencies. its better to pay $150 for a turbo timer you never use, then to have to rebuild your motor/turbos or have to buy new and spend anywhere from 2 grand to $3500. But hey.. if you think im wrong thats ok.. i would just rather protect my investments.. but i am done arguing over it.

UPDATE... ITS ALIVE AGAIN, my twin power blew my ignitor along with my main relay and I had 2 leaky injector O rings!!! Now I have little vacuum leaks but thats easy now that I Simplified the vacuum. I totally agree with you guys about the heat soak ( but I know something you dont know! ) I have a fan mounted to the front of the IC so it pushes air accross it constantly to keep it cool. I totally agree that the turbo timer is not a necesity but I have it and its better too have then not to have. It has a freakin on off button damn it use better judgement if you dont think it needs to be cooled then push the button and turn it off if your in a hurry then set it for 2 min. Thanks guys I appreciate the comments really makes the hard work worth it when its appreciated ( I would have appreciated it myself but you guys are extra! LOL ) The exhaust sounds great got the GN+ Dolphin tail not very loud mounts nicelly underneath and a realy nice tone I think. Ill get some pictures up in a little later. Once again thanks guys and beleive me im not done next on the list:

Scoot Carbon hood
99 spec wing
99 tail lights
99 front bumper
BBS style 18x8.5 18x10
Center speaker mount gauge pod

I see where you are going, but the point is...modern day turbo timers (FDs included) maintain the oil flow after engine has been shut off with the aid of convection. Idea is hot oil will flow towards cold oil creating a vacuum behind it in the lines which is filled up by the cold oil behind it and the cycle continues till there is no longer a difference in temperature between the fluids. Better thing than turbo timers would be do the electrical fan mod. Sleeper7 I agree with you on having the turbo timer and not using it except for your wife situation you described above. however, I can bet if you have it installed, you will end up using it every now and then and say its okay as long as I dont overdo it. temptation is hard to resist

Update

Well its been a while since I checked in so i thought Id post up and put all the pictures together. For those of you who havent read the other pages, Heres a brief re-cap, I bought the car end of November wrecked in the front by the previous owner, I have wanted this car for about 7 years now but everytime I found one it was never the right time. Came across this one and I had to have it, im not the kind of person who believes in buying other peoples projects, I enjoy doing the work myself and having something to show for it, so this was perfect for me. Although the body pieces took longer to get here than anticipated and the body and paint got dragged along due to busy scheduals it was down from early Dec. through the first week on Feb. for paint and body work. I had already made arrangements to be at the steve kan tune session on Feb 13th. The car was completely stock and I went to town trying to get it ready for steve, so with a week and a half it got,
*new vacuum lines w/simplified version
*all smog equipment removed
*255 walboro fuel pump, -6 SS Fuel lines, 550/1300 Injectors, SARD FPR
*HKS Downpipe, midpipe, and 5 zgen Dolphin tail exhaust
*Greddy Intake
*MSD Wires, HKD Twin power
*Koyo Radiator, Aluminum AST
*XS power Intercooler, HKS SS BOV
*Turbo Jeff Battery Tray
*Greddy Pully kit
*Cusco Front Strut bar
*Custom DIN Plate
*Greddy SpecII Boost controller
*Greddy Turbo timer
*Apex-i PFC/commander

I happily made 320RWHP at 12lbs of boost.
