My FD is running weird, please help!
Ok, I was out cruisin around and came upon an empty road, about a mile straight away
, so I stood on it. She pulled great through 1st, 2nd, 3rd, then I hit about 110 in 4th. She wouldn't go any faster, and sounded weird. As soon as that happened, I let off the gas and slowed down. I down shifted into 3rd once I dropped the speed. Just wondering if I messed anything up, I hit the gas hard again. It gave me a weird sound almost like grinding, but not the same one I heard at 110. I stopped off the side of the road and my rx started idleing very rough. I drove it home like this. It seems to have lost a lot of power. I'm hoping I didn't blow any seals. Does anyone have any ideas of what's wrong with my baby??

Always ckeck the map/boost sensor hose first. It is a little black box on the firewall inbetween the master cylinder and throttle body with a vacuum hose coming off the bottom, usually that hose pops off.
I would first check the map sensor as previously stated. However, I think you might have run into the fuel cut (overboosting). Hope you didn't do any damage, but I think you might want to get a compression check if the MAP sensor is hooked up, you might have blown a seal.

Your probably blown
Well yes It sounds like the first noise/decel you got was the fuel cut .And if you now have a problem keeping it running at idle you'd better do a compression test . Theres your second opinion.
HOLY ****!!
WTF IS THAT ON THE BACK OF YOUR CAR?????????????
to answer your question...i agree with the others. check the MAP sensor vacuum hose and if it came off zip tie it on so it doesnt happen again. also if you drove it or let it idle for long like that your plugs are going to be fouled to hell.....so youre gonna have to replace them.
i still cant get over that wing....it looks like ***....
please tell me that its a joke....

The boost sensor hose is still on. I left my boost to the stock levels because I didn't want to get any fuel cut. I had the car up too 150mph before I did any mods and she did fine. Did the Apex-i Power FC set my boost too high, because I didn't mess with any of the boost settings? I didn't attach my avc-r yet, so i didn't have the boost cranked way up.
