My FD project, w/pictures!

Alright, here is the run down.. Before I started stock engine with suspected coolant seal failure.

Current stuff before swap: M2 Stage 3 ECU, Down pipe, HF cat, Racing Beat Cat back, CSF Race radiator.

New stuff: Street ported engine, rebuilt turbos, Supra TT fuel pump, Greddy FMIC, Dual Mocal 19 row oil coolers, no rats nest, intakes, relocated coils.

Stuff to come soon: 99spec front end.

Here are a few pictures:

Putting everything back together.

Let me know what you guys think.

I personally like that look, did that to one of my old t2's... I'd do that to my fd, but I'm going with a v-mount so theres no need.
On a side note, I REALLY like the black intercooler piping... looks really good!

I see kids kneel in front of my car looking for an intercooler all the time. Admittedly i used to do the same thing. When i go front mount, V-mount etc- my intercooler will be anodized.

There's nothing illegal about an aftermarket IC on any car that has come from the factory turbocharged in CA.

It is pretty stealthy/sneaky though, and would definitely draw less attention from the po po.

blinging intercooler or not, cops will always spot these cars. And where is it illegal to have a fmic? It's perfectly fine here in Texas. I think the cops actually liked mine, I actually never got hassled by police in my Fd. I've had two cops pull up next to me and just compliment me on my car. I think now days they're more on the look out for crappy looking ricers

FMIC WITHOUT C.A.R.B number is illegal. Atleast this is my understanding, some please prove other wise. (California) Thats what I painted it black.

I will also be painting the cross over bar black, as it looks funny silver.

Will also be painting the intakes black aswell.

I have yet to drive it, will be taking it for a spin tomorrow. Hopefully everything works out fine.

Car is mainly going to be track, auto-X and weekend used.

The car the right is a S4 FC currently going under the knife, Cosmo engine, single turbo. Not my project, my good mate Carlos' (turborotor).

Painted everything black as to not draw attenchen to the car, and have anyone f*ck with it. Also didn't want to get hassled with by the cops.

I did keep the air pump, air control valvle, and high flow cat to try to cut down on the smell.

Thanks for the complements, I will post more pictures once I have the 99spec replica front end on.
