i opened my door today and my door handle was hard to opene than usually so i tried to pull it open and then the left corner of the haNdle pulled out .is this easy to replace or what.what do i hqave to do.

 

Mine did the same thing. I bought a new one. Haven't looked at the old one yet...

 

Mine broke as well, but Im going to try to fix it myself.

The housing on the inside of the door handle pops off, so Im gonna work from there.

 

Take off the little black cover on the back/inside of the handle. Unbolt the bolts. Take off the door panel and unplug the harness going to the handle.

New one from the dealer is $200!!!

if you don't need your old handle would you be willing to sell it to me for 20 bucks? just thought i'd ask.

 

Just curious, why do you want a broke handle?

 

mines broke too!!! the driver side. i open from the passenger side now. im USED to it and besides, im NOT payin 200 for a new one!!!
someone is sellin one from JAPAN for 75 bucks...he emailed me about it.

 

fixed it today finally..

 

I had the same problem, I messed with it for an afternoon, then I forgot to put the spring back in while I was testing it, and voila! It works! I know it sounds weird, but it worked for me and now about 4 months later it is still working. Good luck guys. Josh
