Hey KINETIK_FD3S do you have a pic showing clearance of you setup in the front? Something real low hopefully parallel with the bottom?

So i take it you could not get the plastic tray to fit back on with the clearance?? Or did you just leave it off so the raditator fans could flow better?

?

BackyardSog- i never tried to re-install the plastic undertray so im not sure if it still fits but it would block the flow of the fans if it did fit.

I've just done a custom V mount on mine, took it for its first drive since the rebuild and the inlet temps were 11degs and water temp at 87degs.

I havn't made any sheet metal ducting for the sides of the V yet so temps should fall even more once i do it.

I used a standard griffin rad and ebay IC which was re welded.

^ what dimensions?

thanks guys, i'm selling my v-mount setup soon to another forum member (currently M.I.A)
so i will be making a new one soon with different IC core, IC angle(maybe), IC routing and some crazy IC/hood ducting, hopefully you guys like the new setup, i plan on building a few v-mount kits to sell to help me purchase a new welder (miller syncrowave 250dx, damm thats one bad-*** machine!) so let me know if you are interested.

thanks fellas , i did a search looking for the picture of the radiator inlet to show someone and noticed this thread was recently back from dead, all the v-mount threads seem to re-surface every few months.

not sure if i am looking at the pictures correctly, but wouldn't the fans be in danger of hitting rocks/stones on the road?
