Ok... my 6 puck bronze clutch was worn out in less than a year. Do you think that stop and go traffic would kill the clutch so fast?

Probably because the 6 pucks don't have springs and aren't made for traffic. You got some ***** for driving a 6 puck in stop n go traffic all the time!
Oh ya, what brand of clutch? I've known a few ClutchMaster's to break or wear out real quick.

... oops, forgot to say my 6 puck had 6 springs too .
But still, the fugger only had maybe 15 - 20k at most.
8.5lbs flywheel
No drag racing
4 AutoX's (could this be it?)
and Miami is as flat as most ***** chicks ***.

Do you ride your clutch? A clutch should be either ingaged or disingaged. When you take off and you let it out really slow to make it a "smooth" take off, this will wear your clutch out. I still don't think it should have worn out that fast. I really think that the liffe of your clutch depends on your driving style.
My clutch is stock with 60,000 miles on it, 4 autoX and three trips to the drag strip.

i can almost garauntee that it is not the clutch that went bad but instead the flywheel. you may ask how a flywheel would go bad. well this is quite easy, the flywheel has a hard time with the abuse that the 6 puck delivers. the 8.5lb flywheel is stronger but in a battle of strength the clutch wins. when you drop the tranny and inspect you may see that i am right.

Like mentioned earlier, a 6 puck want to be dumped. You cant drag it out, you have to dump it. They either want to be fully engaged or disengaged.....if its in the middle(like when your sliping it) your flywheel is spinning and your clutch is just sitting there trying to clamp but it cant cause your holding it back so its just sitting there rubbing. Its alot of extra wear that the clutch was not designed for. Its designed as a pure race clutch where you run up the rpms and just dump the clutch. Its made to just clamp and stick, not rub.
Also like mentioned earlier slipping a 6 puck will totally eat a flywheel. You're prob going to need a new flywheel. You might can resurface it.
What all mods do you have? Why did you get a 6 puck if you dont go to the track much?

Just to echo SPOauto- the six puck disc is a racing disc. Almost every manufacturer will state that they are not for street use. (Unless you want to build up your left leg muscles). Even with the center springs, it will really grab, since it lacks the marcel springs (the wavy flat springs found under the friction material sections) found on the street clutches which allow a little "flex" when the disc starts to engage. You can get a compromise between the street stock disc and the six puck if you order the mazdacomp disc or the RB HD strip/street disc. These have HD friction material in the conventional pattern to spread out the area when the disc starts to engage to make it smoother, but lack the marcel springs to make final hook-up crisp.

I agree with suprfast. Its most likely the flywheel. When my friend had his 6puck it put hairline cracks in it because it grapped so hard, making him think his clutch was going out.
