Exclamation my car can't start...

anybody can help me.. i'm driving 93' RX7.. yesterday i drive my car.. when i'm boost the car suddenly the engine got cracking noise, very loud cracking noise.. after that the engine misfiring, like no spark on plug then the engine die.. after that i try to start the engine but the engine can't on..
i ask mechanic what the problem then he said i could be compression leak.. coz i check the plug have spark n the fueling was okay.. but the engine can't start..

is it true the compression was leaking? or could be some other problem?

sounds like you blew an apex seal... was it running really rough after you heard the cracking noise?

the cracking noise makes me think you spun a bearing, but it's more likely that you blew an apex seal. A compression test will reveal whether or not you blew one.

Sounds like a blown apex seal to me too. I had the same prob on my 7 which happened while I was boosting down the road. I could actually keep my car running, but had NO power and sounded like a single rotor motor.

Time for a ported 3mm apex seal rebuilt motor!

What kind of power are you looking for? Street car or racing? A dual ball bearing turbo would flow alot and spool quicker like a gt35

gt3574 or a gt35r are my 2 best suggestions.

If you're going for more power, the ASpec 500R.

What's your goals and what's the car going to be used for is the best place to start? When you answer those, then you can select a turbo.
