Well, no need to change the vacuum lines if you're getting perfect boost. Really..

i would go with the old saying "dont fix it untill it breaks" but we all know on fd's if and when it breaks... it breaks pretty damn good..

Experience with Lance was great, he answered all my questions with ease and gave his word on the car. I also grabbed a 3 yr warranty on the car for my safe sakes. Car arrived within 5 days from texas to my house in California. I paid 16g's out the door for the car. Which I don't find to bad at all espically with a new engine with only 50 miles on it. Yes I am located in So Cal. -=) Car has 107,000 miles on the chasis. No scratched or dings on the exterior and the interior is in perfect conidition after a little bit of clean up =]. But overall great experience car runs so smooth, at start up it jumps up to 3000rpm's for warm up, vacuum I am getting 18-20. Idle is 800 cars just seems amazing. Now I need advice on which mods to invest in.!

Just installed my Boost Gauge tonight! Works perfect =]

Wait a while before you switch to synthetic motor oil. You should use normal oil for the whole break in period, I'd probably wait til about 5k miles.

Exactly. Figure you have YEARS before they start to deteriorate... And by then you will have gotten the itch to remove them...

I myself preferred to remove the rat's nest/sequential set up. I can't understand why people would continue to punish themselves by doing hose jobs on that rat's nest?

Just bought (3 months ago) a 94 touring with 58k miles on ebay. The seller bought a new Z8 roadster as his play car and decided to sell his FD. The guy pulled it out of his garage to put the FOR SALE sign on, drove it down the street, and popped the motor. He ended up spending $6k on the motor and install (silicon lines, downpipe, aluminum AST). So after rounding up the cash, I drove from Columbus, OH to Washington, PA... cleanest car i've ever seen, inside and out! Gave the guy a deposit and picked it up the next weekend. My 8 month search for a clean, unmolested FD is over. 61k on chassie, 3k on motor. LOVING IT!!

Now i kill time at work reading everyones posts, trying to educate myself. I WANT TO SEE OTHER CARS!! i know i've missed all the meets/events for the year, but can't wait for next year! I wanna see the custom stuff everyone is doing!
I wanna try the V mount IC/Radiator setup. Does anyone have any advice? Nice example on an FD in this month of Super Tuner!

thanks in advance!!!
William

Good point. Synthetics should only be introduced after the motor is completly broken in.

Sounds like a great car. Congrats! Lance is a huge asset for the FD community. He just didn't have the right car when I was looking.

Congrats on the car... I remember how it was when I got my car (~200mi on the motor/turbos/clutch)... I wanted to boost it... but I never did until I hit the 1,000 mile mark. It was hard, but I made it, lol.

You stated that you were going to get your coolant flushed, etc, etc... then get a new radiator later. I would suggest you do all the coolant mods (AST, Radiator, Thermostat, etc.) all at once. Also, if your motor has only 50 miles on it, I really doubt you need to flush the coolant.
