Smile My '93 FD

All images taken within the past 6 months. All stock except limo tint rear, 30% side tint, and a steel braided clutch line because the original was a p.o.s. All original interior (yes, including Bose foggy-lens CD player. It's ok, I have a tape-adapted Sony portable for those early morning and cold start listens.

These guys can fix your Bose system by the way:

http://carstereohelp.com/mazda.htm

Ship them your cd player and they'll have it fixed in a week. My bose system sounds like new again thanks to them.

Why do you feel the need to draw attention to yourself by belittling someone for sharing their RX-7?

verywellspoken, nice car.....it's always refreshing to see a stock 3rd gen in good condition.

Thanks for the compliments. 7apex7, the main reason I shared is because just about every pic post I see is modified to the nth degree, and knew some would appreciate a mint condition original. Anyone know anything about leather conditioning/treating? It's still in great condition and I want to keep it that way, without paying someone else to do it.

mine only had one previous owner -- and him for 12 years, only driving it on the weekends (was a car collector). I got lucky, I feel as though he was keeping it for me since I first saw and wanted one back in '92...keeping it for me til the price dropped down to 14k

Actually it's refreshing to see another 3rd gen without a widebody kit, 19" bling blings, a huge wing, and a dozen subwoofers under the hatch.

From Webster's dictionary:

ric-er
n.

1) A kitchen utensil used for ricing soft foods by extrusion through small holes.
2) One who desecrates their Japanese automobile by bolting on a widebody
kit, 19" bling-blings, and 3 subfwoofers.

2) One who desecrates their Japanese automobile by bolting on a widebody

Must be the "Old Geezer stuck in a young body" Edition

Because the FD is a performance car.

19's Slows the car down.

3 Subs does nothing except make you deaf earlier in life. Money could be spent on maintenance or more go-fast-goodies.

Widebody kit is a cosmetic nightmare, not only do you have to find decent, more-than-likely heavy wheels with the right offset, you also bastardise the beauty that is: The original Rx7 (As such, thanks for posting your pics! Get a front lip on that beauty!)

Save 19's and your CRAP for some honda that can't move in the first place.

MEGUIAR'S Gold Class leather wipes keeps your leather in really good condition and keeps it from drying out and cracking. I use it on my wife's car, as my FD is an R1
