wats the difference?

also whats a downpipe and a midpipe? cant really figure these two things out.

I belive that the midpipe replaces your cats while the downpipe is after your turbos. they both give you more hp and heat reduction but you cant pass the sniffer with the MP i belive. maybe?

 

your FD has two cats.. One is a pre-cat which you can get a downpipe(of front pipe as many japanese call it) to replace it. And then you have a main cat which you can get a midpipe to replace.

From turbos back it goes in this order dp or pre-cat, mp or main cat, catback..
