Was wondering if anyone assist me on this subject, i just recently planned on testing out synthetic oil on my fd but wanted to know what others recommend.

Pennzoil seems to have a bad reputation. I don't know if it deserved or not, but there are many other oils that seem to have better reputations.

Mobil 1 is good stuff.

i just downloaded a pennzoil commercial that includes the rx-7 and some reason i thought they were good (other people told me). lol like my transportation tech teacher was like pennzoil syn rocks. hehe

 

I don't think you could really tell a difference unless you looking at the long term factors. I use Mobil 1 syn, and so far I like it, but then again I have never tested out the Pennzoil. I guess it is just a matter of preference! But personally, I would have to agree with Max, Mobil 1 is really good stuff! I used to use Castrol GTX because I wasn't sure about synthetic either, but not that I have been using Mobil 1, my temps. are actually lower, not by much, but anything helps, especially in the long run!
