Mounting racing seat harnesses?

i just bought a sparco speed seat for my future FD. i also bought a 3 pt harness as well. i was wondering where do you guys tipically mount your harnesses to?

do i need to fabricate some kinda special mounting bar that runs along the rear strut bar that i can mount the rear strap to?
thanks.

also if anyone has any pics of where they have mounted their harnesses that would also be very helpful.

I tried the search to try and find something for you and I found this. According to them you shouldn't use your rear strut bar for this though.

get M2 harness bar or get a real rollbar. the stock rear strut brace willl snap like a chicken bone. Also you might check with local SCCA to see what they approve of and use there guidelines to do it correctly. This is not something to play with.

yeah good call. m2 strut bar, or youre gonna have to weld a plate to the underside of your car to bolt the harnesses to.

I've got the M2 harness bar (replaces the stock rear strut tower bar and its mounting pads). Nice piece. You can go either with bolt-in or clip-in shoulder harnesses.

After I took out my back seat, it was easy, I guess you guys dont have them though? Anyway I used the same spot where the lap belts were for the back seat to mount the shoulder straps.
