MotorKote 100 (oil additive)

Sorry for the long post.

I have used the search button but did not find anything specific to this product...it has been recently launched in Greece and I would like to know if any one has used it and has any feedback on it - and if it is good for the rotary engine...I have already emailed the company on this subject and will post the answer once I get it

http://www.motorkote.com/

I spoke to one FC user and he was impressed (however he has only used it for a month or so), and a mag review (in greek) said it was not bad (not rotary specific however)

from the site:
[...]
MotorKote 100 engine wear protector dramatically reduces friction, helps to lower engine temperature, boosts power, and increases horsepower. This NEW and very easy to demonstrate engine wear protector is 4 times more concentrated and sells for 50% less than Slick - 50. MotorKote 100 is concentrated using only 1-2 ounces per quart of oil to treat engines for up to 5 years or 50,000 miles or 2500 hours of use between re-application. The protectant is compatible with all oils, gas or diesel engines, power steering, manual or automatic transmissions, gear boxes, transfer cases, marine engines, 2 or 4 stroke engines, even grease. MotorKote 100 is not diluted with SAE 30 weight oil and contains no solids. MotorKote is owned and marketed by a university professor. [...]

The reply from David Persell (11/8/03)

Yes, you can use MotorKote in your Mazda rotary engine. The only place you do not use MotorKote is brake fluid. Use 1 oz per quart in your oil, transmission, power steering, grease, etc.

If you need anything, let me know.

Why not the engine - do you think it would burn leaving ashes ? I put it in tranny and gear so far and I am deliberating what to do in the engine...I have not seen any major differences so far...

I read the review of the Greek edition of Max Power and they used it on a Fiat Punto with 80k km (in the engine), did another 1000 km and then dynoed...it showed a 1.4 hp and 0.1 kg torque benefit if I remember well

However, what seems to bother me is that u guys in the US seem to never have heard of it...

i used zmax in my vw. i dont know if it worked or not, but what i did notice was that i was continuously having to add oil. . . A LOT of oil. i just changed my oil and put lucas oil stabilizer in. hopefully it doesnt do the same.
