ON Motor flood question

Hey everyone.

I asked a few questions about my motor being flooded and i was told how to fix it etc. When the mechanic changed my power steering pump after that the car would not start. so they kept trying and ended up flooding the engine. Im in the Army and i had to leave for Edmonton the next day so the car as it stands is the same. now i was told im fucked. and its going to eat the seals etc. its been sitting for about 2 months now.. what do you guys recomend??

I have no idea and i really want to know what kinda damage im looking at and how could i fix it.

Cheers guys.

Thanks for the help

IMO, the reason seals get "eaten" from flooding is when it is at least partially due to a bad coolant seal letting coolant into the chambers. If you don't have coolant in there, I don't think being flooded will do any permanent damage. Just unflood it when you are ready to start it. You may have to use fresh gas, new plugs, etc., but it should not significantly damage the engine.
