Is it true that the Apexi PFC is 16 bit and the Motec is 32 bit?
Is the Motec streetable? Anyone running Motec and Apexi PFC can share their experience. thanks.

if your running anything short of a bridge-ported tri-turbo 20B producing 1200 hp, the Motec is overkill.

How many people that have responded have tuned cars with any of the systems?

I would go talk to who is going to tune your car and have them pic it. If you tune yourself what kind of support are you going to get with each system.

You would probably get better info in the single turbo section where most of the people have already had to make that dicision for thier car. There are quite a few "tuners" in the single turbo section that could help.

Also the ecu section would probably be a good place.

Its really going to depend on your goals for the car and what kind of mods your planning. So lets hear it....What will you be doing to the car????

i already bought an ecu yesterday after i talk to someone in Motec USA. i got the Motec M800, i know it's really expensive but my philosophy in building a car is everything has to be over-engineered so that you only going to do it one time and one time only. the thing i'm going to do with my car is to be streetable and be competitive enough for racing (road race, drag, autocross), so in able for me to cover all bases, i really liked to stay stock sequential or even better M2 Ball Bearing Twin Turbo Upgrade Set , Bret from M2 said that each turbo has enough cfm for 400 hp, so i thought about it and getting full boost at 1,800 rpm is amazing. Tri-point engineering is going to help set-up my car in suspension and reliability. for engine mods, first, heat is the number one enemy of the wankel engine and that is my priority; second, the cooler the air equals less detonation; third, over-engineer the fuel system; fourth, good quality apex seals; fifth, ........ the bottom line is i'm going to do this thing right at the first time, cost/effective wise i'm going to save a lots of money, problems, labor and time in the future. i think all car enthusiast should consider this. just my 2 cents.

The Power FC is actually a EXCELLENT computer for the seq system if you are keeping it in tact. I'm sure the Motec will be fabulous as well but it would probably shine better with a non seq or single turbo set up. Could be wrong though, It just seems like the seq system with all of its silenoids would be VERY difficult to properly tune with a standalone that isnt predesigned for it. Are there already some Motec maps out there for the seq system that you can start off with or will you have to tune it from scratch? The Haltech has TONS of professionally tuned maps available that you can use as a base map to assist in tuning.

Anyway, I hope it goes as smooth as planned. Sorry I cant be of more help but I'm not real familiar with the Motec.
