More stupid body piece removal questions - Rear bumper removal

I'm trying to remove the rear bumper now.

I got the 4 torx screws from under the high mount stop light, two torx screws on each side under the taillight, and one weird tab thing in the middle of all of the torx screws. Then, I removed the reverse lights/reflex reflector assembly and removed two bolts from behind each reflector assembly. I also removed two strange long nuts from each side of the top outside of the bumper, inside the fender well. Finally, I removed a bolt from each side at the bottom outside edge of the bumper.

And yet, after all that (if it made sense), I can't get the bumper off. There appear to be two white clips on each side, rectangular, about 1"x1/4".

Is there anything strange I have to do to remove the rear bumper?

**** sucks

remove interior hatch pieces and stick your hands way down in the corners near the tail lights where the seam is, to get the 10mm's

There's two of them, right? They're like nuts, only with really long extended heads? If so...I already removed two of those from each side.

everything you did is correct so far. only those 2 white clips are holding the bumper in place. it's difficult to axcess the clips to properly depress them. just grip the bumper and pull, sometimes you get lucky and the clips don't break

That sounds like a stupid design. Ugh.

Bump because I SO don't feel like reaching way the hell down there to get those clips off.

That seems like a TERRIBLE design idea. I'm hoping there's another way to do it.

When I did mine I used a long slender screwdriver to unlatch them
