more Renesis info
Hey all,
Was doing some reading on past threads about the possibility of a renesis conversion. Just wondering if anyone know anything more about the engine, like will it fit with the existing engine mounts, and would it be practical to add a turbo application. will it mate up to the trans correctely ?, seeing as how it makes the same amount of stock hp w/o a turbo, the potential is exciting to say the least. Anyhow, I worked at a mazda dealership last summer and they said it wasn't SUPPOSED to come out until the late summer of 2003, so guess i'll be waiting

IF NOTHING ELSE, I WOULD LOVE TO GET MY HANDS ON THE RENESIS ROTORS. MAZDA HAS DONE SOME SERIOUS WEIGHT REDUCTION TO THOSE.I WONDER IF THEY WOULD BOLT INTO THE 13BREW?

Lets just hope that the 2 rotor renesis doesn't require a special computer to fire it. It won't be east to do transplants if we can't run a Renesis engine with a Haltek (or equivalent)
