if you already have the engine management then prob around $200-$300 to do a dyno tune

What other mods do you have to support 14lbs of boost? The stock turbos run out of breath around 13lbs, why are you trying to go to 14?

Please post more details about your car.

I've seen the stock twins do anywhere from 10-18psi and not hit a wall as far as power goes. I believe stock twins can run 1bar reliably, with the correct mods (full exhaust, intakes, PFC tuned correctly, AI, new radiator).

But yeah more details would definitely help, it might not even be safe to run 12psi on your setup.

Yeah but that horsepower doesn't go into the engine anymore, it goes into the making the manifold glow.

go for it then. i'd just make sure you get something to closely monitor air/fuel's. just to be on the safe side

Wait, what?

EVERY engine is different. Just like every dyno is different.

Having your fuel map tuned is a great idea. However I don't think you should be doing it just because a shop/website has posted a certain whp at a certain boost.... The problem there is that you will be going into the tuning session with a set number/expectation in mind, and (as a result) you might come out disappointed with the numbers you get...

Better would be to tune for the peace of mind knowing that your car is running a safe AFR utilizing the max efficiency of your current mods....

(FWIW, a dyno number is JUST a number... I'm showing 340whp on my dyno pulls with BNRs at 18psi and I will SPANK anything under $80k I encounter on the road...)

Or.... why don't you just CALL THEM tomorrow and speak with the people you're trying to work with, instead of asking the forum to run all your errands for you......
