IMO if you can hear "ever so slight rattles" then your car's not loud enough...

I agree about the torque brace. It's a mixed blessing. However, one of the things I've found about torque braces that rattle (especially on decelleration) is the way the brackets are constructed. If you have too much lateral material outwards from the fender, it will resonate with vibrations - causing a characteristic rattle at around 1000 rpm. A stiffening piece of metal at the 90 degree bend will prevent this.

i regret that i can give in to people that can "SELL" me on all these mods.
we get caught up in making these things SUPER fast, when realistically the only thing it does for us is make us $ BROKE $ and have more points on our licenses.

No it's not Turbo'd
All the suspension work, HKS Coilovers, Diff Brace, And Polyurathane Motor Mounts, make my car a dental liability !
I love / hate my setup... Love it On Smooth roads going faster than anybody else into a turn, without even going past 60% traction on my tires... the thing I hate is all the poorly paved cracked roads in Los Angeles... Especially the Freeways.... If I go 70 Mph over this one spot, I'll bottom the car out... if I go 50 it's harsh but okay...

I like the fact that my car has an exhaust I can stick my arm in, yet is quiet enough for daily driving (flow + relative silence is so rare these days).
It only rattles on acceleration and it's very slight, but just enough to annoy me (it's like a very low ping).

Totally with you DC. Agree whole-heartedly.
Up here in the bayarea we have a lot of freeways with expanding sections of road which cause the seams to push up. I'm still running an R1 damper/spring configuration but with Recaros, other bushings, and braces it can be very bumpy.
Sometimes I regret the 6-puck clutch when I'm in 1st and I always regret it in reverse. It's brutal backing out.

I regret spending so much money on a stock car...To get it where I have now I could have bought any fully modded single turbo with all the most expensive parts and still have several thousand left over...But I love my car and at least I will have exactly what I want in the end. But i still could have had that cheaper

Likewise with the turbo timer.
And I wouldn't say that this is a mod I regret, but if I had to do it over, I would have gotten the Tri-Power or "FlyRx7's" dash mount gauge pods instead of my Autometer that mounts on the A-pillar. IMO, it takes a little bit of vision away and it sticks out way too far from the dash and is obtrusive.
Also, I picked up some Fikse wheels and they are TOO nice! Now I always worry about them whenever I'm parked somewhere.
With some things, I feel it's better to just stay stock. Some mods make the car too loud, ruin the ride, and make it harder to live with.
