My car isnt running right now but im in the middle of trying to get it fixed. While im waiting i was gonna order some stuff for it. It has a downpipe i was gonna get a catback and a cold air intake. Will i be alright with those mods or am i askin for trouble. I see alot of you guys talkin about how if you do mods to them they get tempermental and I dont want to blow another motor.

The key to the mods is keeping the boost level at stock (unless you also upgrade the ECU). If you don't have a boost gauge yet, get one and that way you'll be able to monitor the boost level.

might want to wait till you get it fixed and get it running in case the repair winds up costing you more money than expected

With those mods, you will need a boost controller. Heres a link:

Like Mahjik said, keep the boost levels at stock and your fine. Ive been running the dp-mp-cb combo on the stock ECU for as long as I can remember. Then again I do have a ported wastegate...
