modifying primary rail for 850

Just want to make sure, i searched and everyone says to get the rail shaved of 1/8, just want to make sure i need to get the rail shaved at the right place. Is this correct?

That is correct ,good picture. I get $ 5 plus shipping to do this ,I have a fixture made to do them on the mill .Most of the $ 5 goes for taking time to go to the shipping place .

5 bucks + shipping? Sheesh, I was gonna do mine myself, but I'm lazy (and don't have a mill - was gonna use a grinder/file)...
