Mix stock and aftermarket turbo
Mix stock and aftermarket turbo
Is it possible to keep the primary (first to spool) turbo and replace the secondary turbo with a bigger one, this way you keep the fast spool of the stock,, which is damn near instantaneous, and I figure it will give the secondary turbo enough time to spool up, I'm looking for maybe around 400-450HP, I want little to no lag, I am not much of a drag racing, I like autocross, and zipping along the track, so, the less lag the better. If anyone can help I would appreciate it,, Thanx,
Yes, This question maybe totaly off the wall, but I figure I'll ask the experts out there.

BNR stage 2= stock pri turbo ,the sec turbo has bigger intake wheel . New stage 3 has both turbos with all wheels bigger and larger shafts that are not prone to break .New center section also .
Oh, and one more thing,, about how much HP are the BNR's good for, in the stage 3 they replace both,, is there more lag then with the stockers? I went to

and it didn't tell me much except that the shafts are better. If anyone can help or has experience with these I would appreciate it. Thanks Again.

run a search for the BNR 3's. Been beaten to death here.

Keep in mind BNR pulled them for a year or so and re-released them recently. The old ones have a lot of stories of oil leakage - supposedly that's fixed.
BNR did a lot of work to make the stage2 and stage 3 sets work - it's nowhere near as simple as buying a single and forming pipe to it. The sequential twin setup requires a fancy exhaust and turbo manifold casting, and stock is really the only reasonable way to do it.
