Brakes, and suspension. You will prolly want to run a midpipe with that setup instead of any kind of cat.

Brakes taken care of with Stoptech and suspension with HKS coilovers.

Midpipe I have been thinking on, problem is I must have a cat on the car, illegal not to have one in Sweden and the fine for this is pretty step. Does not go under traffic laws but enviromental laws. But I am still considering it.

Might want to consider high flow cat if midpipe is a problem. Im not sure if I ever heard of a Greddy 6 speed gearbox, is this something new?

I course it would be a high flow cat!!!
Check out www.rotaryextreme.com, they have the gearbox. Acctually it is a dogbox with greddys nametag on it. I know that HKS has one to but we will see.

How flexible is your fuel management ?
I live in Germany and they are **** about emissions here but with the Microtech LT8 we just play with the settings on the laptop until it passes then go back to our regular map when we drive out, with straight through 3in pipe off the turbo.

I think the 6 speed is a waste. If anything I would go with the more usable 5th gear in the newer 7s, which your car may already have actually, since you're from sweden. When you get the ICs testes please post your results here.

what's in the 'ultimate fuel system" ? bigger injectors, fuel pump etc?

Also, would you need new clutch to handle the increased power?

My AEM should be flexible enough. We have the same ridiculas rules about emission, but I also have to have a cat on the car. Swedish laws demand it. But does not have to work so as MakoRacing said I will proberbly gut it. We will see, we will try to gut one and drive with ethanol to the car testing. It may work

to widebody2
I tend to agree with You on the gearbox, but my car is an 1993 still it is from Japan and I know it has been modified, have not had time to dig into it yet. I will post IC testing on the forum.

to Section8
If You go to www.rx7store.net, you will see their fuelsystem. I will work with an external fuelpump thou. Planning to put out 600-700 hp on this car, so I would guess that I would need a stronger clutch.

Regards

I love it when people say it can not be done, love proving them wrong

to 93type-x
Yes, We will properbly go with a hybrid, talking with a brittish company and they are testing with parts from RX8. We will see what we can do with that or something else

haven't heard good things about AEM ignition amp...

you'll need work done on the intake manifold...port the upper, and get a higher flow lower. Chuck at rotary extreme is offering a ported TB, with a "single" upper butterfly valve <---it's tight! expecting 20% greater flow.

Water injection would be a good idea for extreme boost applications.

all I got for now...
