I dont have a clue what is wrong with my 1997 RX7 its only done 16,000 mile so i dont think anything bigs fucked up doesnt smoke or idle funny on start up.

Problem started two days ago. Just recently flushed the cooling system out if that could of coursed any thing but when i was flushing it i touched the live battery and the aircon bracket and it sparked dont think anything fuses have blown cos all the lights work fine but i have my stand alone ECU mounted to the air con bracket which is linked to the race logic traction control which go to the injectors so i can perform injector cuts and launch control etc

right after i explained that ill get to the point.

battery charged
starter moters fine
fuel pumps sound fine
cranks over just doesnt fire up untill i put my foot to the floor a and crank it a couple of times.
then its on fine

gonna check the spark plugs 2night and earths **** like that

i live in a place in england which is **** and garages are **** and they dont have a clue or wont touch it

can anyone think of anything else it could be? i can take photos and post it or make a video if you specify what parts to look at?

So if got it, you're saying the problem is that you have to put your foot down to get it started?

If you haven't run the car much since then, put in a fresh set of plugs and take it for a good drive.

Then I'd start doing electrical tests on the fuel system and ECU and stuff. Might also want to verify that the injectors are ok - measure resistance of each injector and test each one for a 'click' using a 9v battery.

yup i have to put my foot down and crank it about 3 time and it fires up, weird just started doing it, wont be any thing to do with the throttle would it?
