Micing oils

Is it possible for me to mix A Synthetic with some regular. I have some Mobil 1 I want to put in put My dad had put some synthtic a month ago, I need some more oil but am worried about mixing the 2.

There shouldnt be any problems, Mobil 1 is compatible with any mineral based oil.But you should try and mix with the same weight like a mineral 20-50 with Mobil 15-50 so that you have a more consistant viscosity.

that's what basically "synthetic blends" are, they are mixed synthetic with dino oil. It's of course cheaper to mix yourself.
