f*cked up idle from NS conversion

hey every1,
JUST finished my NS conversion...and i go to start the car. No check engine lights or nething...but the car JUMPS from 2k to 2500 on idle. and even if i start it in gear, it tries to swing to 3k for AWS even tho i start it in gear...

does ANYBODY know what would cause this? any elect. sensors? btw, the only thing i did was remove the DT and took out that other throttle cable

sure its not just your cold start????

let it idle for afew minutes and see if it goes back down...

if its not that, then make sure that your Throttle calbe isnt caught somwhere or over tightened... i doubt its that

also check the hose that connects to the MAP sensor.

its on the back right, of the car, its attached to the firewall, the black box. Make sure that the hose is still running to your UIM.

Did you do the poor mans job?

I agree, If its not he cold start then check your map sensor and the hoses attached to it.

the map sensor is fine...its on the sensor good and run to the backside of the UIM...the thing that gets me is im starting the car in gear w/ the clutch in....cold start should be eliminated. Not to mention, whos cold start JUMPS back and forth from 2k to 2500?

did you eliminate the double throttle???

I'm doing the full non seq as well, I'm going to start my car up tomorrow morning early, I've been waiting for my DP to come in which it did so we'll see how mine went.

I on the other hand did block **** off along with the removal of the flapper in the y pipe and the removal of the door in the wastegate.

you might want to check the hose to the PCV. Mine had a small crack ones and it was idling like that.

hose coming from oil filler neck. It has a pcv valve on it. Easy to see.

that should run to the oil neck, im assuming if its an oil return line then the part that blows should go to the nipple on the oil neck.

throttle cable hooked up correctly....and yea i dont think it is possible to hook it on the other "loop thingy" lol. I'll check the fans when i get home 2day, but i doubt i unplugged them. But what it sounds like is ONE messed up electrical connector can cause this funky 2k-2500 rev, so i'll check all the elect. connectors i messed with

Are you running on a stock ECU?? I heard they dont work to well with the NS conversion, but thats probably not it. If you have a PFC did you switch its setup from Sequential to Non-Seq.??

stock ECU...yea you have to pull a few strings and trick it into working properly, but many people have done it.
