Which MBC are you guys using????

I am looking for a manual boost controller and saw this website which shows tons of MBC's but just dont know which would be best for me, this is for my BNR Stage 3's. I would like an InCabbin style,

I know there is a home depot special but the Joe P MBC looks good also.
Please any feedback and pics on how to install would be excellent.
Thanks

boost controllers are more basic then people think. you can make them yourself. i'd say these mbc's are just as good as the home-depo, ball-valve ones. all mbc's are doing is restricting/opening up the boost passage way. i will look into finding the thread that talkes about the home depot boost controller mod.

personally i would go with an electronic bc. they are easy to use and you know how much boost your allowing right off the bat. if you try setting a mbc on a stock setup it can be risky

agreed. It has an in cabin attachment as well.
Better response since it uses a ceramic ball and spring. Couldn't be happier with it...don't have to mess with any wires...and you know we all hate that

I'm using dual Hallman MBCs (one for wastegate, one for pre-control) with in-cabin controllers. Unfortunately, I didn't do a back-to-back comparison with my old pill-based approach, but these controllers are ball-and-spring and seem to allow much faster spool up. I'm getting 1 kg/cm2 (14.2 psi) at 2500rpm on the stock twins and boost holds solid until redline (with a dip for transition).

My ideal would be an electronically controllable ball-and-spring controller. There is no way to accurately record the settings of manual controllers that I know of.
