Hahaha, yeah keep it going!

I don't think I am going to go as far as a full race exhaust, but I have started to look at some louder systems ( Greddy TI) in persuit of the exhaust note I am looking for, just because from what I have heard, the Tanabe Touring is pretty quite and close to stock, and I really want to have something that both sounds good, looks good, but is still not really loud yet a bit more noticeable then stock. I don't think I will ever find an exhaust if I keep this in mind, haha. But right now here is kind of a list of the one I am considering, thanks guys for the recommendations.

1. St. May's Shot Gun Dual Tip
2. Tanabe Medalion Touring
3. Greddy TI

The Tanabe does not sound stock. It is noticeably different from inside and outside the car. When my wife go in for the 1st time, she said "what's wrong with the car, it sounds weird". I asked if she liked it and she said "It's too loud".

Now it is not loud compared to other exhaust, but compared to a stock one, it is different. Not so much louder in dB, but it is a deeper tone. I have been told by many people that it is the perfect blend of deep but not obnoxious, and that the car sounds like a jet engine going down the back straight stretch at the track.

I'll see if I can get an exhaust clip at a later date.

Here is the tanabe touring medallion. Sounds like stock with a little growl. But sometimes you need some a "race" sound, especially if you take the car out on ocassion. If its your daily driver, then this is the exhaust for you.

I just might, hahaha. I actually have been looking at rad's lately because I will need to upgrade it soon, but first I need to:

1. replace the spark plugs (all 9's)
2. get a a few mods from pettit (cover plate and duct, ground wires)
3. flow test and clean injectors
4. wastegate porting
5. either smic or rad
and then once all the reliability and maintenance are done I will install a catback.

Sadly, the one you saw on youtube is the video from Tanabe. Albeit, the video isn't all that great, it seems like a nice tone to me. I also love the look of it, as well.

Have you read the reliability mods thread in the FAQ? I'd do it that way step by step. I think the first ever mod i got was a AST then boost gauge..

Yeah, I have pretty much done all that I can in terms of reliability. When I bought the car the previous owner installed a new factory motor, so along with that they also replaced the ast, vaccuum hoses, and downpipe. When I got it, I changed all fluids and filters, got 4 gauges (greddy temp, oil pressure, and boost as well as aem air/fuel).

Thats as far as I got before I had to put her away, so right now I just want to try and adress cooling, but I am not too worried about it yet because on some of the hottest days I was seeing temps only reach low 90c range. Along with that, I have a greddy intake, and still running smic, so there are two parts ( the ones I was talking about in my last post) from pettit that should help airflow greatly to the stock intercooler and the greddy intake.

The other stuff was more to try and get it to idle properly, because I am pretty sure it fouled the the spark plugs I put on when I first got it, and the reason why I want to clean injectors is to get some better mpg from it as I am currently doing about 175-200 on a tank.

Then make sure it doesnt boost creep with the catback by porting the wastegate.

Well, unless you keep it relatively stock and at stock boost.
