I had the Mazdaspeed shift **** last year. It had a nice feel but it was
a little thicker than the Factory ****. And was definitely lighter as well.
I liked the feel of the stock **** and it's weight. I went back to the
factory one. I might try the B&M short this spring though.
regards jc.

Its quality is also lesser than stock. Mine wore out quickly and I ended up going back to stock. I'd recommend getting the carbon fibre one instead.

WTF are you *doing* to your shift **** that wears it out?! It's for shifting, not humping/chewing/gnawing! Of all the parts on a car, the shift **** is probably one of the *least* likely to wear out...EVER.

As JspecFD said, I have heard others talk about how quick they wear out but that all depends on how much you drive and how tight you squeeze your ****.

Do you even own one? How long have you used it for/how many miles? Do you drive your FD daily? Anything constructive to add? Some of us have owned our FD's a long time and drive them regularly.

For anyone who has experince with the Mazdaspeed leather ****, its inferior characteristics become readily apparent over time in comparison to the stock ****. You clearly lack that knowledge and your arrogant presumption otherwise is incorrect.

Lots of other people who DO have experience with it have shared the same sentiments.

T-RX7, Rotary Performance here in Dallas has them. That's where I got mine. But I think since it's Mazdaspeed you have to call and see if they're in stock. http://www.rx7.com
