I'm wondering how much hp would a mazdaspeed SMIC support at least 350 RWHP or do i need another SMIC? i prefer the mazdaspeed if it'll work. it'll be occasional street and auto x runs and about every 2 months full road race at texas world speedway. thanks for the help.!!

it is just an all metal version of oem to get rid of weak plastic tanks, if it's same as old mazdacomp. keep looking.

 

Get a Pettit or Greddy for an easy SMIC setup that will perform well. (I have a Pettit that only needs slight modification to work in the FD again for sale if interested).

I would highly suggest the ASP Medium SMIC for your plans though as it will offer a lot of headroom incase you ever go beyond your current setup... its pricey but is very nice quality and looks great in the bay... it is probably one of the best mass-market SMIC's available IMO.

So an Asp Medium SMIC. i'm really only looking for 320 rwhp, max 350. so if it'll support up to there i'll be happy and that's what i'll get. i appreciate the help.

Yep, there are people making more than that on ASP IC's. 320-350 will be just fine on that IC (given the rest of the car is in good shape and can make the power).
