mazda should.....

mazda should send out a formal appology to all the FD owners for engineering a true POS. i dont mean that literally its just a pain in the *** to work on. i was slicing some vacuum hoses last night and i broke 2 more solenoids and i still havent got the rats nest out yet. o well no biggie, simplified sequential system for me now.
ha.

Come one man, really. You're talking about 10-11 year old plastic components that are heat cycled to some pretty big extremes every day.

Any high performance car will be somewhat difficult to work on. The fd is an engineering marvel. It was way ahead of its time

Go single, it truely simplifys the entire engine. No more solenoids and like 10 vacuum lines total. The only way to go.

Yeah, the complexity of the factory turbo control system is at the root of the motor's reliability problems (disregarding fuel delivery and stuff you do to it yourself).

1. the civic was here b4 the FD 2. i have a sponsor thanx to the civic 3. racing is my pride and joy and i dont race the 7 yet.

as far as the mechanic comment. im no pro mazda mechanic thats for sure, but when it comes to my honda i can hang with the best of them. i do my own work and i got a long *** write up of the buildup of the civic. for a first time motor builder i cant complain. the ETs speak for themselves and the driver isnt so bad either .

do some mods to the FD, and the civic will only be a memory of the past. 12.0 on a all motor civic is pretty decent though. I will give you props for that. Are you running slicks? What about nitrous (ive heard people refer a nitrous using car to an all motor car, so i dont know how you stand)?

i know the 7 has tons of potential but right now i have to represent my sponsor. if all goes well i might b able to get him to use his CNC machine for my rotary motor!!!!
i runs slicks and im currently building a new motor with 14:1 compression but all motor, no nitrous, nitrous is for pussies, ha.
