I was reading some posts about the different types of recalls that mazda did with our cars. Does anyone know if i can just go to my local mazda dealership and ask that a check be done to see if those recalls were done on my car? thanks

 

I believe the dealer will put a sticker underneath the hood on the car that they preformed the recall to. I have one on mine.

 

Yes you can (and should) do that. Any that were not performed will be done for free.

 

Yep, sure can. Give em the VIN and they'll check to ensure the recalls were performed.

Has anybody had the ECU recall done? Apparently, Mazda says there is a recall on the ECU for my car. What exactly are they going to do?

 

Someone said there was a recall on the '93 paint, I laughed. Imagine how great that would be?

 

replace the ecu.

 

someone was wrong, there were several cars repainted under warranty due to peeling, but the warranty ran out about 10years ago....

 

I knew it was under warranty, but IMAGINE it was under recall... Oh the Bliss that would follow..
