I'd say around 350-360 rwhp.......maybe some have got slighty more...but it's really not a good idea anyways...since there will be SO MUCH HEAT... and so wont get that kind of power unless you have a midpipe...anyways..which I didn't see on your mod list. The better question would be "how much pressure can you run and what kind of horsepower will that make..?.. stock turbo start to run out of steam at 15-16 psi...again not a good idea anyways...

Do a search...this subject has been discussed numerous times..

Hiper Exhaust

Seven93, This doesn't really have anything to do with your question but I'm thinking about getting the hiper. How does it sound? (loud, annoying, deep)? If you have any movie or sound files of it I would love to hear them.

high boost

go ahead and try running high boost thru the wimpy stock set....they just cant handle it....youlll fry em and be looking for rebuilds within a few months...then youll do rebuilds and theyll leak or smoke or stink and youll have to do it again.

not to mention the heat damage that youll add to your already fire brand hot motor.

if I had it to do over again Id avoid all the problems above and go with either a single like the rx6 or the xs kit...or the m2s.

M2's look great on paper and they may be more efficient, but they still push the exhaust through the same damn sized openings that the stock twins do. This is one of the primary reasons why they are not efficient as a single.

The M2's are great if you are looking to stay around 350 RWHP, as they spool just as fast as the twins, and flow more air to the engine at a lower psi. I believe M2 has claimed 400 RWHP from those twins, however I don't think that anyone, including M2 have yet to get that number.

How about I've seen stock turbos dyno 400RWHP, you just gotta have enough fuel supply and know how to do it.

I don't think anyone said you couldn't do it... They are just saying the turbos will be toast in no time.

Most people seem to say that 13-14lbs of boost is the most you should consider putting on stock twins if you plan on keeping them for a while.

hmmm

yes...all i was saying is that the stock set sucks. Ive spent 3k on turbo rebuilds over the past year and a half...Im done with that game...thats why I went m2. I was going to go single as it is a comparable price...unfortunately I cannot pass smog with the single setup...I also didnt want the lag problems that come with a single (they are more laggy)...I have enough low end issues from my streetport. I wanted a bit more power and increased spool times...increased response....thus the m2 set.

Im shooting for 385 at 17-18lbs boost with my current (and intercooler) setup once the motor is broken in. Im going to be at xs doing my dyno tuning next month. Ill post my best numbers then....but I really dont think Im going to need more than that. I would want to do the diff and the bushings...drag kit at that point. I also dont want to break down every fifteen minutes...so Id genuinely be happy with 350-375 at the wheels.

Anthony with a silver FD menaged to get 395 or 396 RWH with stock twins (non-seq) with a ported motor and Pettit ECU. I was present during the dyno runs, boost would hit close to 20psi and drop down to ~18psi... very impressive !

Shortly afterwards, the turbos fell to the ground and were retired for doorstops... j/k

It's close but 396 is not 400 ...400 is kinda like a milestone magical number...so it has to be 400 or better period...

kinda like the old 360rwhp claim from the biglist days...
