max boost

Does anyone know why all of a sudden, i am getting 15 psi when i stomp on it? Even under moderate acceleration, it climbs above 10 psi unless i take it easy on throttle opening

motor is a pettit streetport with 1000 miles. aluminum flywheel and downpipe. scheduled to make turbos non-sequential and programable ecu with a- spec tuning on august 4th

The only exhaust mod that you have is a downpipe? You still have the stock catback and stock main cat?

If it's true, what Mahjik said, then something is seriously fishy. Hole in the exhaust causing more flow maybe? I don't know, but thats just not right.

Your wastegate is not opening. Check the short (4-6") vacuum hose running from the primary turbo housing to the wastegate actuator. I'm guessing it popped off or is not 100%.....

yeah, what rynberg said...or maybe the precontrol is not opnening. Does the high boost occur during primary or secondary operation (before or after 4500rpm)?
