You didn't list an aftermarket intercooler. If you are using the stock intercooler, I would suggest staying with 10 PSI. However, if you must increase the boost: Depending on your octane (and condition of your fuel and ignition systems), 13-14 PSI. I would suggest keeping it at 13 PSI if you want to keep it reliable.

you don't even want to go to 9000 rpm. there is no point. the turbos don't flow enough for that.

Maximum boost without an upgraded intercooler 10 PSI. Depending on what intercooler you upgrade, Pettit recommends no higher than 13 PSI. However, I had other have run the Pettit ECU higher than 13 PSI. If you are running higher boost, make sure everything is working properly (i.e. injectors and ignition system) as you are using the highest octane in your area.

IIRC, the Pettit Unlimited also increases the RPM rev limit. You can email Pettit to confirm:

so why did they move the rev limiter sounds dangerous to me? It also seems that the torque curve runs out of breath at least at 8500 if not 8.

I believe the rev limiter cut was to keep the ECU from cutting the fuel as well. IIRC when you hit the rev limiter it cuts the fuel.
