Question Many questions. Advice needed.

Whats up! I'm a newbie to RX7's though i've been into modifying cars for several years now and I have some questions.

I'm looking at buying a '93 RX7 locally with the following engine related mods:

Stage 3 Street Port from PR
m2 downpipe
racing beat cat-back
racing beat cold air induction box
Apex Super AFC
greddy profec-a boost controller
K&N Filter
Unorthodox Underdrive Pully
3" Steel Intercooler Pipes
Hollow Cat

The ported engine has just been installed and has NOT been ran yet. (The water jacket blew on the original)

So far to get it running properly it looks like I will have to trade the Profec-A for a Profec-B, install an upgraded Fuel Pump (looking at the RR), and do something about the ECU. Due to tight money and time constraints right now I will be looking at the Petit unlimited ECU as opposed to a standalone management system. First mods once its running would be an upgraded intercooler and radiator (which probably should have been done first). Also there have been some issues as to whether the Racing Beat airbox will pull air backwards across the IC?

My guess is that due to running the stock IC and Radiator I will be forced to run lower boost pressure till I upgrade... to prevent overheating/detonation, which is fine with me. Is this a correct assumption?

I guess my main concerns are.... am I looking at a reasonable approach to this? What else do I need to consider? And will the injectors be able to supply enough fuel with these mods? Basically I'm trying to figure out what exactly i'm getting into here, and theres noone better to ask then you guys. Thanks in advance for the help.

Heres a big one. The Car needs a new wiring harness too. It looks like I would have to spend 800 for the Pettit ECU and 550 for the wiring harness to get the car running, which comes out to $1350. From what I've read it looks like the haltec E6K ($1300)comes with a new harness. If this is true than i can save 50 bucks, kill two birds with one stone, and be in a way better position as far as tuneability is concerened. Is this possible or does the E6k still depend heavily on the factory harness. I'm looking at the haltec package for sale at .

Oh ya, one more question. Anyone ever used or heard anything about JapTrix out of West Palm Beach?

E6k doesnt rely on the factory harness. That's the way to go. Just keep in mind getting it properly tuned will cost money.
