Brake Recall Question

I've called Mazda USA, and they say my car has had this recall done. However, my car is now exhibiting the symptoms of the problem that the recall is supposed to fix. No vacuum to the booster on cold mornings until things warm up.

Where is this check valve that gets clogged, and can I just clean it out? I'm not positive this is my problem, but the symptoms are the same.

I know recalls are covered for life, but I'll have to take it in to the stealer to get diagnosed and the earliest I can get an appointment is late next week. I'd like to do something about this before then.

Thanks,

Well, if anyone is interested. I did find the check valve. I removed the hose it was in and sprayed some Gunk through it and blew through it until it was clear. Repeated this a few times and now I have boosted brakes right from the time I start my car again.

Of course I got a ticket during my test drive, but that is another story. Nothing is ever simple.

I did, that's how I figured it out.

Thanks though.
