Mine was installed Nov. 2003 with Evans NPG+ and auxiliary electric water pump during hot shutdown.
Stock twins with M2 large, downpipe, catback. Now a total of 18,000 miles with 850 primary and 850 secondary.
19 in. Hg of vaccum from day one.
ran a whole summer in AZ 118 deg heat. no issues.
Recently tuned with Steve Kan 311 whp with 264 torque at 12 psi on California 91 octane pisswater.
Much better than the previous reman from Mazda: I had coolant issues from day one.

Constant threat
Have had VERY good luck with mine too. Although...my engine builder took the new re-man apart when he street ported it and then put it all back together again with new stuff. Seems like he said I had quite a few new parts and the used were in exceptional shape...so maybe I lucked out a bit.
All I know is it is one screaming little kick-*** engine!
