Newbie with a quick question!

Hi, i have a FD running a single turbo t78 setup, greddy intercooler, hks drager exhaust and apexi PFC..Problem is that my motor was just recently rebuilt and i need to drive carefully for the next 500 miles to insure proper breakin.. my question is that i also have a old school greddy profec boost controller.. Is there any harm to running the car without the profec b turned on if i limit boosting to stock levels.. any harm done. i watch my gauges like a hawk and never go past 5k rpm and keep the boost at 10 psi or under..Ionly ask becuase i think my profec b is broken and i want to order the newer one.. please let me know.

Turning it off is probably the 'safest' thing you can do, it'll limit you to your wastegate's spring pressure.
