Unhappy major problems with dropping tranny, gurus please help

Alright guys, I am trying to put my new 6 puck in but I have cought a fairly large snag. everything is apart, and I have been trying to get the throwoutbearing out of the clutch cover but it is stuck in there REALLY HARD! Its definatly not coming out. So then I said ok, I will unbolt the clutch cover from the flywheel and take it out as one peice, so I start unbolt the cover, and the bolts are just spinning, they are not loosening and the clutch cover is not budging from the flywheel. The only thing i can think of to do is cut the six bolts that are holding the clutch cover to the flywheel, anybody got any other suggestions? Im open to just about anything at this point.

thanks,

brad

Are you sure you know how to un-hook the FD's pull clutch? I have a video that will probably help you a ton if you are unfamiliar with it....

yeah brian that video was awsome i looked at it, but the problem I have is that the throw out bearing is pushed all the way in towards the clutch cover and the push pin and collar are all the way out, and the clutch fork is pushed all the way forward and is stuck in that position not sure whats going on there but its wedged in tight.

Did you already remove the clutch slave to give the fork freedom to swing back?

If so then your only recourse might be to remove the pressure plate from the flywheel. You'll have to loosen the pp bolts using the small windows in the bellhousing. It's supposedly tedious but can be done.

Some light flywheels have bolts AND nuts holding the pressure plate to the flywheel. If the bolt is just turning, you may have to get a wrench on the nut on the backside.
