I've had an inconsistant loss of power in my 93 R1.

Sometimes I'll WOT it and it will feel normal and other times I'll do the same and it has the acceleration of my nissan pickup. When performing normally, it boosts correctly up to 12psi. The only mod I have affecting power would be a DP.

Seems like the power loss is in 1st and third gear and is slow through the whole powerband....but still, sometimes it works fine.

Can't take into the shop probably till after Thanksgiving, so maybe I can get some ideas from you all. Thanks!

 

I had the check valve go out on my double throttle vacuum line. Caused a similar problem. Try capping both ends of the line.
