? On main turbo inlet pipe
I'm leaking boost on my turbo. I have researched on the forum and found exactly the problem. I copied and pasted the problem here.....
Primary Turbo Inlet
Typically collapses under high volume air through air cleaner into Primary Turbocharger. When the engine bay is hot the rubber is more prone to collapsing. Typical symptoms are having good boost at lower RPMs and then a loss of boost at higher RPMs, this is aggravated when engine warms-up softening the rubber allowing for easier and more complete collapse of the hose. Typically costs about $90 at dealer.
Now my question is is what I think is the inlet, is not rubber. It actualy looks like a small elbow that is made from that hard plastic that is found on the factory intercooler piping. And also it has a gasket. So I'm confused. Did I order the right part or am I going to waist a $120?

Yes I do. I confused myself on this one. I thought that the comun leak came from the pipe leading into the 1st turbo. What actualy fails is the rubber pipe leading up to the factory air box or in my case the lower cold air intake. I still have a dirty oily mess in front of the stock twins though.
I do have another question though. On that (elbow) leading into the first turbo there is 2 hoses going leading out of it. My question is, is where do they go? Into the turbo?
I hope I'm not question hopping I'm just trying to figure it out.
But guessing where ur coming from 2slo it's not that side I'm talking about it's the other end of the turbo. I wish I was more computer literate so I could paste a pic and draw an arrow......this would be cool but I'm retarded when it comes to doing that stuff

Thanks. I discovered that the hose on the left was loose ( if u were to look at the front of the turbos from the front o the car ). It seems to have helped my first turbo but I'm still not getting any of my second turbo or maybe this hose has nothing to do with boost presure what's so ever and it's more of a mental thing then anything. This sucks. Do u think I should replace all the hoses with new clamps on the turbos first or should I get a mitivac and jump into process of elimination of all the valves?
