Main fuse? car will not start!
I was doing something stupid and I crossed some wires and a spark occured. My dash lights would not come on and my car would not start. It will try to turn but thats it. My main 120 fuse was blown (the yellow one) will that keep it from starting?
where can I get one?
thank you!

hmmmm, must have crossed some main primary wire/s to ground. be sure to fix the problem first(the reason for the arc), then look everything over and make sure things are cool, and replace the known blown fuse.

So thismorning I got a fuse and I was able to start the car but nothing but black smoke came out of the exhaust with a rough idle. So I took the car to Ricks Rotary performance and he was going to replace the water hose behind the manifold, but found the rats nest was a mess. He found vacuum tubing that was hard as a rock, seloides that were broken AND vaccume tubes that were glued together previously. Oh and the tube that goes into the boost control valve was fixed with a nipple that looked like the tip from a glue bottle, lol.
Anyway all of that is fixed, It seems I have some boost issues taken care of now too.
Thanks!

My advice is to ditch that rx-7 as soon as possibe and buy a 5.0 mustang. Throw some money into some mods like heads, intake, cam, and get some real N/A POWER that will last.

Matt, why would I do that? N/A power? You ran a 15.1, lol.
My problem was my radiator hose behind my manifold not my engine. I don't take advice from kids that talk **** and cant back it up. And BTW...You told all the guys in the chat room that you beat me in the 1/8, did you look at the time slip?
You still want to bet me 2500 bucks you can beat me in the 1/8? You know I set a new personal 1/4 mile record the other day, right?

you did a 2.20 60' with drag radials. I had one of my worst launches ever and did like a 2.38 on regular tires.
I run 2.22's consistently. Give me some drag radials
