Was trying to figure out why my ACV made noises (changed ACV gasket 3 times and wagon wheel check valve 3 times as well). At idle there is no noise, but as i apply throttle i hear the noise and the ACV vents the pumped air out. I go under my car check if the airpump's air is going into the cat, at idle i do not feel any air going to the cat. With some throttle sometimes air went to the cat and sometimes it did not.

1. I was wondering if i should feel a vacuum coming from the metal check valve?
2. How important is it for the air pump to be in this position?

3. Do you think i have faulty solenoids?

Thanks in advance
Robb
