Magnaflow cat?
Magnaflow cat?
Hey,
Anyone of you guys using these univesal Magnaflow cat on you FD and passing Cali smog?? I was just wondering what part number are you guys using on your car. I have narrow it down to 3" in/outlet with an air tube: 94119 or 94219 these two are 13" long by 6.5" wide and 4" thick. The other one is 93519 is 16 by 7 by 4. Do you think these can take the heat from our engine?
Thanks, Jay

I have a 95319 sitting in my room right now waiting to go on the car. In my experience the Magnaflow (Car Sound) cats are at or above OE quality. Therefore it should fare as good or better than the OE cat. Not to mention flow more.
Also, in my experience, Magnaflow cats find there way into many other brand's "high flow cat sections." I would rather weld the pipe up myself and save some coin. Especially since it is the same exact thing.

I was going to order a N-tech, R/T, or RX7 store but the price was just too high. I don't there is much difference between those an the Magnaflow universal ones. I'm a DIY kinda person. Plus, I rather spend my money on other project on the car.
