made a 13.165 run

a few weeks ago before i blew my clutch i went to the track to see if my tein ha's and m2 traling arms and toe links would make a diffrence in my passes. well the did in a big way.

r/t .598
60 1.987
330 5.554
1/8 8.507
mph 83.90
990 10.951
1/4 13.165

i dont know the mph because the slip says 770.10. i was cutting 13.5's all night hooking up real goood with no wheel hop at all. i set the rear struts two clicks from full soft and the car felt like it was on two wheels.

mods
pettit intake
down pipe
greddy pe exhaust
tein ha coilovers
m2 traling arms and toe links
nylon bushings fromt and rear.
9.5 lb flywheel
act street strip clutch
18'' volk gt-n w/ nitto 555
mazda speed hood

very good considering the light flywheel. What were you launching at? I'm somewhat confused on adjusting for wheel hop too. Some say that putting the rears to full hard and the fronts to full soft gets rid of wheel hop, although not best for weight transfer.

You basically got it right, set the rears almost all the way soft so it will squat. Although being on drag radials you may not need to do that.

Nice run with those mods and boost....and street tires. It's tough to get that close to 12s with just exhaust mods and stock boost - nice run and good driving. Get some serious mods and you're in the 11s before you know it.
