Did he offer any rationale for this? I can't imagine why not.

ya know...mike is the new guy....he really does not know a lot about these cars. Ive tried picking his brain and it was a bit like deer in headlights if you know what i mean. gotta take info like that with a grain of salt.

I think the only reason he would say this is that the streetport causes low end power loss in exchange for upper rpm gains. the m2 set is for low end and middle in comparison to a single or the stockers.

however...I have a streetport and have no issues because of it.

that is the reason i went m2...I wanted to get back my bottom end that an aggressive streetport takes away. it did exactly that...gave me my response and low end back.

it depends on how you want the car to drive...i wanted gains throughout and the combination gave me that.

j,
why'd you get such a big port if you wanted low and mid end power?

He didn't get a big port his is only a mild streetport. Gotta understand artguy is all about low end and no lag

I have a streetport...did it way back when i first got the car and didnt understand what the full ramifications of the decision would be. I was a noob. I spent the next couple years trying to build to get my low end back.

my streetport is on the aggressive side...

just goes to show...total HP gains is not what it is all about....tis what I thought it was about a few years ago...but have since changed my mind.
