Which bushing? The one on trailing arm?
If you are talking about the one on stock trailing arm, it's replaced by a rod end. No more rubber.

It does not really clang. If it does, that means the pillow ball wears out.
It does not replace any of the bushings other than what's already on the stock trailing arm and toe links. Those 3 on the arm are pillow ***** and can be replaced with mazda oem parts. There is someone on the 3rd gen for sale section selling for $215 for all 6 of them. Tha'ts very cheap. Dealer wants $65 each.

Chuck, here's a quick question, and Damon might be able to answer as well, but when I installed my aftermarket trailing arms I measured the distance from bushing hole to the other end of the stock arm and then duplicated that distance on my new trailing arm. However there is no way this can be accurate.
I'm concerned about how this would affect the rear's alignment (I think it would be rear caster actually) and how one goes about having it adjusted as they don't typically check rear caster while doing an alignment.

Usually the rubber bushing on the trailing arm, inner side doesn't really need replacing - but yes, this is inside of the trailing arm and will obviously be replaced by the new trailing arm.
The toe-link bushings definitely wear out and that's one of the reasons for doing this mod in the first place.
You will have increased noise over uneven bumpy surfaces like road seams - but your rear suspension will also spend less time compressing rubber before doing what it should be doing - providing a solid geometry for weight transfer and contact patch.
Basically the small increased noise does not outweight the positives.
